This conversation with Taro Aria the Cheif Dreaming Officer of Mikuni Restaurant was incredible.  He is so full of wisdom.  He shares the story of him raising enough money to move from Japan to the United States as a teenager so that he could be himself.  He talks about the miracles that occured to build the family business they now have...9 locations and over 32 years in the Sushi Business.  He is an intentional man, husband, father, and business owner.  As he is reaching 50 years old the torch is being passed down from his father to him.  He shares the differences of being raised by his father from Japan, and how it changed as he learned to raise his own children in America.

About the Podcast

Fatherhood Field Notes
Fatherhood Field Notes is where we hear real stories from real men living real lives every week. Fatherhood is not only about being a dad, it incorporates providing and serving a home, loving and serving a spouse, engaging and serving in a community, as well as intentionally serving your children. Fatherhood is an adventure, one full of fun, wild, and messy stories. In this podcast, we will hear stories from real men who have found themselves living the Adventure of Fatherhood. The Craft of Fatherhood episodes are 5-10 minute episodes where your guide Ned Schaut shares stories on his own fatherhood journey.
