EP268 with Jim Haag: The DUTY of a Father

This conversation with my friend, Jim Haag, is full of wisdom from a disciplined man and father who's truly embraced his role as dad and shifted his lifestyle to lead his family in the most positive direction.

He shares how nutrition, fitness, and how taking control of his physical health helped put focus on how he wanted to show up as a dad. He shares what he's learned about his body chemistry and how this knowledge has played into the habits he's put in place to stay healthy and vibrant.

In this same vein, he shares the realization of how important it is to be the seeker in what you want out of life - not simply letting life drag you along.

We discuss the importance of intentional stability and how growing up with a dad who wasn't a strong source of stability shaped him and how he views fatherhood.

Jim talks about fatherhood as a duty - not a right. He reminds us of the responsibility we carry as a father and how rigorous self-evaluation helps us show up as the best version of ourselves for our family and help break down barriers in our homes.
